Job Vacancies in the following positions:
Job Title: Project Manager (X2)
Department: Information Systems
Location: Lagos
Employment Status: Permanent
Reporting To: Senior Manager - IS Project Office

Job Description:



  1.      Project Initiation and Planning:
  2.      Develop project charter, preliminary project scope consisting expectations, objectives, risks, approach, deliverables with key stakeholders
  3.      Constitute project team including steering committee
  4.      Develop and refine project plan and detailed workplan teffectively manage, the effort, scope, deliverables, milestones, resources, etc.
  5.      Develop project control framework tcover the establishment of a sponsor group, risks and issue management, and communication management
  6.      Plan contracting, procurement and purchasing of materials
  7.      Project Execution, Monitoring and Control:
  8.      Execute, monitor and control different aspects of the project
  9.      Give direction/maintain focus by coordinating different aspects of the project
  10.      Employ effective change, risk and communication management tdrive the progress toward the agreed goal
  11.      Conduct status update meetings and report project progress
  12.      Manage time, quality, scope and cost of project and correct deviation from plan
  13.      Manage stakeholders
  14.      Manage contract administration
  15.      Project Wrap Up:
  16.      Close project
  17.      Present final deliverables and conclude knowledge transfer
  18.      Complete documentation and knowledge management process for the project
Job Conditions:  May be required twork extended hours.

Required Skills:
  •      8  years applicable business experience, including:
  •      4 years formal project management experience in a telecommunications business environment or in a customer care & billing systems (CC&BS) or an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems environment

Qualification:
  •      BSc in Computer Science, Information Management
  •      PRINCE2 Certification an advantage
