About Maersk Line
Maersk Line is a global organization with offices in 125 countries in the world, thus creating opportunities in global commerce. The Maersk Line Graduate programme is a global programme with participants from different countries thus adding global diversity to the programme.
Programme Objective
Maersk Line Graduate Programme is a two year programme that aims to impart thorough knowledge and experience of the shipping industry to the participants. The participants of this programme will go through different job rotations to impart holistic knowledge of the shipping business, academic sessions and workshops in different global seminars in Copenhagen and India.
Participant Profile
Since Maersk Line Graduate Programme is an extensive and highly competitive programme, we are looking for candidates with a strong educational background who have relevant work experience and level of international exposure. At the end of the programme, successful candidates will be deployed to handle managerial roles; hence, individuals are required to have a mature and self motivated mindset.

General Requirement

Candidates who meet the below requirements are invited to apply.
Qualifications
  • Masters Degree in a Business related field/MBA
  • 2-5 years work experience in a multinational/ blue chip organization
  • Fluent in English language.
  • Shipping/logistic knowledge is not mandatory.
Job Application & Interview Process
The recruitment process starts when you have submitted your application online and the confirmation pop-up appears on your screen.
If your profile matches the Maersk Line’s ideal participant profile above, you will be contacted before Tuesday, September 20th 2011 to write a test on Saturday, September 24th in Lagos (please keep this date clear of other engagements). Details of the test will be communicated to you 3-4 days before the test date.
If you are successful at the test, you will be invited for the next stage(s) of the screening process.
The entire recruitment process will take 4 to 6 weeks.
